Immerse yourself in the mystical world of the Maya and visit the famous Coba archaeological site. Located about a 45-minute drive west of Tulum, surrounded by jungle, it's renowned for the tallest Mayan pyramid on the northern Yucatan Peninsula. For those with a head for heights, the 42-meter climb is a sporting challenge, rewarded with a breathtaking view over the jungle.

We will travel the approximately 2 km from the entrance to the pyramid in so-called “Mayan taxis”. During this tour, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and other interesting archaeological sites in the shade of the tropical trees.

Afterwards, refresh yourself in an underground cenote. The crystal-clear water in this part of the world's longest underground river system allows you to admire various rock formations.

Dine with a Mayan family who are exclusively visited by us and are always delighted by our presence. Our guests have the opportunity to learn the art of making handmade tortillas (corn cakes) and even participate in their preparation. Afterwards, a delicious traditional Mayan meal is served.

In the afternoon, drive through several Mayan villages and experience how the inhabitants still live in the Mexican jungle, relatively untouched by Western influences.

Hike through the Punta Laguna nature reserve, nestled along a romantic lagoon. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll search the jungle for wild spider monkeys in their natural habitat. These fascinating creatures belong to the genus *Cyperidae* and are sadly endangered. With luck, you might also encounter howler monkeys, the second loudest animals in the world. Participate in a Mayan ceremony with a real shaman, take a canoe trip, and—if you're feeling adventurous—cross part of the lagoon on a 250-meter-long zipline.

As you can see, the entire day trip is a refreshing mix of culture, nature, people and adventure!
