Experience a day in a typical Mayan community without tourism.

After a personal "cleansing" by a shaman, you will learn about the healing powers of many plants, as they are still used today. 

Enjoy the ride through the town in a typical Mayan taxi and visit a typical cemetery with its variety of colorful graves.

Next, explore a large cave with numerous stalactites, stalagmites, and many other interesting formations. Be amazed by the ancient ceramic and bone fragments from the Mayan culture. Refresh yourself in another cave (cenote), where you can safely climb down.

After enjoying a traditional Mayan meal, have fun hitting a piñata filled with sweets together with the village children.

Before heading back, admire traditional Mayan dances performed by young people who participate in professional competitions between villages.
